Nemours Children's Health vision is to create the healthiest generations of children. From a single orthopedic hospital founded in Delaware in 1936, Nemours has grown into one of the nation's leading children's health systems.
More than 100 physician scientists and 28 PhD lab heads in 11 research centers in Florida and Delaware lead clinical trials and publish research collaboratively with hundreds of academic medical centers and hospitals in the USA and around the world.
Clinical expertise and research insights are centered on four major areas which include some of the most prevalent children's health conditions, as well as some of the rarest and most severe: asthma and cystic fibrosis; childhood cancers; diabetes and obesity; and neurodevelopmental and musculoskeletal diseases.
