Abstract

Laparoscopy has become increasingly popular in pediatric urology, reducing the invasiveness of treatment and shortening the period of convalescence. Many practicing pediatric urologists and surgeons have little previous laparoscopic experience and are trying to adopt not only an additional surgical procedure, but also the completely new surgical concept of retroperitoneoscopy.
