Resumen
We report a case of spindle cell lipoma of the hand on a 34-year-old woman. The tumor presented as a slowly growing asymptomatic mass, soft on palpation. MRI demonstrated areas of fatty signal interspersed with nodular and linear areas of non-fatty tissue that showed high signal on fluid-sensitive sequences and contrast enhancement. The histologic diagnosis of spindle cell lipoma was made on needle biopsy and confirmed after excision. The patient has been asymptomatic with no recurrence.
